IT is common knowledge that in Malaysia you have 2 choices when it comes to purchasing a handphone – Original Set or AP Set.

The Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) urged customers to buy handphones only from authorized dealers/ reputable outlets and ensure that the warranty was from the phone manufacturer. Consumers are urged not to accept personal guarantees from retailers for such items commonly as “Under Water/ Recon Set” merchandise.
